Quality improvement (QI) is an essential element to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of nutrition assessment, counseling, and support (NACS) services. At the health facility level, SPRING/Haiti works with health facility management and health workers to ensure that nutrition services are delivered using a QI approach. SPRING/Haiti works with facility QI teams to ensure that they are functional and go beyond HIV units to include staff from pediatric and prenatal units, among others. SPRING/Haiti provides technical support to the QI teams to support them in identifying nutrition QI projects. The project also focuses on identifying nutrition champions within the health facilities who can help support QI processes within the health facilities.
