Climate Change through a Gendered Lens: Examining Livestock Holder Food Security

Men and women livestock holders are differentially vulnerable to climate change. This article proposes a gendered conceptual framework for understanding the impact of climate change on food security in pastoral, agro-pastoral, and urban livestock holding communities and proposes global health intervention strategies.
