The Multisectoral Anemia Task Force Secretariat comprises the CORE Group, FANTA, MCHIP, and SPRING, as well as the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative and USAID’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene program, Neglected Tropical Diseases program, and Food for Peace office. It developed three frameworks presenting the causal and program pathways for maternal and child anemia. The frameworks were showcased by Dr. Rolf Klemm (Johns Hopkins University) at the first partner’s meeting on October 18, 2013 to guide the discussion on integrated approaches to anemia prevention and control.
