USAID Multi-Sectoral Anemia Task Force

USAID’s Multi-Sectoral Anemia Task Force was established in 2011 to increase the coverage of anemia prevention and control interventions among pregnant women and children under two, with concentrated efforts to reduce maternal and neonatal deaths in specific countries.

In 2016, USAID’s Bureau for Global Health partnered with the SPRING project and MCSP to support and facilitate Task Force activities. SPRING and MCSP co-chaired Task Force meetings during 2016–2017 to facilitate multi-sectoral participation in an effort to advance shared learning, promote prioritization of anemia activities, and identify opportunities for collaboration and integration. Participants represent a range of sectors, departments, and agencies including USAID Washington, USAID missions, and partners.

Presentations and other meeting materials are available on their respective Event pages, featured below.
